Day 01

Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle Discovery

• Meet your tour guide and visit Postojna Cave, where you will experience an amazing system of caverns, halls, and caves, about 2 million years old and stretching for around 24 km underground.
• Take the electric train at the entrance, which will bring you into the Great Mountain cavern for a distance of about 4 kilometres, followed by a walk of around 2 kilometres among stalagmites and stalactites. The visit will take about 1.5 hours.
• Afterwards, drive to Predjama Castle, which is world-famous and lies at the mouth of a cavern halfway up a 123-metre-high cliff. It is 9 km away from the caves, so transport is needed.

Note: Starting time from Ljubljana is 8:45 am every day.
