Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas Discovery Tour
- Meet your tour guide, who will pick you up from your hotel and begin the tour.
- Stop at Angelmó Market, a classic stop for tourists and a hangout for locals looking for fresh fish, seafood, and produce. If time allows, enjoy a salmon ceviche at one of the stalls at the end of the market area while watching sea lions and seagulls forage for food.
- Visit downtown Puerto Montt. During this stop, discuss the history of the city, its importance during the German Colonization Process of the 1850s, and its modern culture and history. A short walking session between the main square and surrounding streets will give you a fuller idea of how much this part of the country has grown.
- Head to the viewpoint located in the historic Manuel Montt neighbourhood, which offers a clear landscape of the city bay area and the many hills that gave it its original name, Melipulli.
- After a 20-minute drive on Route 5, arrive in the city of Puerto Varas. Founded during the German Colonization Process, this tourism-focused area of the region has plenty to offer.
- See the Sacred Heart Church, a 1920s National Monument built in the style of churches in Germany, specifically Marienkirche, and visit the Costanera area. You can also stop at the former Train Station neighbourhood or the beach area of Puerto Chico.
- Drop off at your location.
