The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Delhi

Meet the tour representative at Delhi airport, where they will be holding a placard displaying your name, and transfer to the hotel.

The rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 02

Explore Old and New Delhi

Have breakfast, then proceed for your Delhi sightseeing tour.
Visit Jama Masjid, the country's largest mosque, Chandni Chowk, and the spice market. Enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk.
Head towards the elegant yet imposing Red Fort for a drive past, then continue to Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, and Humayun's Tomb, Delhi's finest example of Mughal architecture.
Later, see the famous Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Temple (Sikh Temple), the medieval workmanship of Qutub Minar, Parliament House, the President House, and India Gate.

Day 03

Delhi to Agra and Mughal Monuments

Have breakfast, and then transfer to the Mughal city of Agra. Agra is a major tourist destination in North India because of its many Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri. All three are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Check in to your hotel upon arrival. After freshening up, visit the famous Taj Mahal, the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. (The Taj Mahal remains closed every Friday.)
Visit Agra Fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar, and the Tomb of Etimad-ud-Daula, often described as the Jewel Box or the Baby Taj, and regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.

The rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Agra.

Day 04

Fatehpur Sikri and Chand Baori en route to Jaipur

Visit the Taj Mahal again for an early sunrise tour (optional visit). After visiting the Taj Mahal, return to your hotel to freshen up and have breakfast.
Transfer to the Pink City, Jaipur. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Explore Chand Baori, a stepwell situated in Abhaneri village, on the way to Jaipur. Chand Baori consists of 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories. It extends approximately 30 m (100 ft) into the ground, making it one of the deepest and largest stepwells in India. On arrival, check in to your hotel.

Day 05

Jaipur Forts, Palaces, and Observatory

Have breakfast. Today, visit Amber Fort, nestling among the Aravalli Hills and built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. (Enjoy an optional elephant ride at Amber Fort, subject to additional charges.)
Visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace) and Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. It is Jaipur's most famous monument.
Head to the City Palace and Museum in the afternoon. It was conceived and designed by Jai Singh as a fine blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and is one of the most important architectural landmarks in Jaipur.
Walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory. The rest of the day is free for rest or shopping at your leisure. (You can visit the local markets for some window shopping. Jaipur is the most famous marketplace for handicrafts and gold and diamond jewellery.)

Day 06

Jaipur Temples and Departure via Delhi

Enjoy breakfast in the morning, and you can visit Birla Temple and the famous Monkey Temple (Galta Ji).
Later, you will be transferred back to Delhi International Airport for your onward journey.

The tour basically covers three of the most vibrant, beautiful, and amazing cities in India: Delhi, the country's capital over decades; Agra, the seat of power during much of Mughal rule and home to the spectacular Taj Mahal; and Jaipur, the Rajasthani capital with its traditions of chivalry and valour.

From the bustling lanes of the old city to the archaic charm of Lutyens' centre, from the many monuments that mark the richness of its past to its shopping arcades and contemporary malls, each offers a different flavour of the Delhi experience.
From here, we move on to Agra, where we witness a completely different atmosphere. Agra's biggest claim to fame is the Taj Mahal, which stands as a lasting tribute to love and lovers beyond time. Chosen as the seat of power by the Mughals, this city began its journey to fame in 1526 with the arrival of the Mughal king Babur. Filled with architectural gems, it also has a rich tradition of handicrafts and culture. One of the best things about Agra is that it offers easily accessible and adventurous excursion possibilities like the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and Fatehpur Sikri, famous for its mystic Sufism.
Then we come to Jaipur. This capital of the state of Rajasthan was colour-washed pink to create an impression similar to the red sandstone of the Mughal cities. Like any good tourist spot, Jaipur has all the amenities of a big city, but its real charm lies in the inner lanes and streets of its markets. The regal aspect of this desert city is obvious to all who visit, and the atmosphere is infused with the romance, adventure, and bravery of an amazingly rich historical tradition. Jaipur is also popular for its Elephant Festival, which is unique to it. Complete with its camels, elephant rides, desert sounds, and folk culture, Jaipur is one of the most colourful experiences one can hope to have.
