Day 01

Saigon City Tour from Phu My Port

• Meet your tour guide, who will welcome you with a sign bearing your name at the Phu My port gate, just 2-5 minutes by shuttle bus from the ship to the gate. Then depart for Saigon by private minivan, a journey of around 1.5 hours.
• Visit Saigon Eco Village, a place that is very popular with local people for weekend picnics and fishing. Here, your guide will introduce you to how rice is grown and how fish are caught in Saigon City - an unseen part of Saigon. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a local Vietnamese-style beer here.
• Continue to the Jade Emperor Temple and a local Wet Market, then head to the Water Puppet Show. Please note that the show is off on Monday.
• Explore the War Museum and enjoy a great view of Saigon.
• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with local specialties. Later, visit City Hall, the Opera House, the Reunification Palace (formerly the Presidential Palace), and XQ Hand Embroidery.

  • Hiep Phuoc Port - It is about 30 minutes from the city center.
  • Phu My Port - It is 1.15 hours from Saigon/HCMC city center and 2.5 hours from the Mekong Delta and Cuchi tunnels.
  • Other language guides are available on request.
