Osian Temples, Desert Safari and Sunset Experience
- Meet your tour guide, who will pick you up from your stay in Jodhpur and head first to the Osian Temple. Osian is an ancient town located in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan in western India. It is an oasis in the Thar Desert and is famous for its cluster of ruined Hindu and Jain temples dating from the 8th to the 12th centuries. Today, it remains a desert oasis with sixteen Brahmanical and Jain temples, beautifully sculpted and designed, most of which have stood the ravages of time.
- Visit the Sachiya Mata Temple of Osian, located on a hill. To the northeast of the Mahavira Temple stands the city's most preferred attraction. Goddess Sachiya Mata, the wife of Lord Indra, holds equal significance for both Jains and Hindus. The Mahavira Temple dates back to the Saka period in the 8th century and was built in honour of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Jain Tirthankara of the Jain community.
- Go camel riding and enjoy a jeep safari in the desert of Osian during the lovely sunset, with time to capture beautiful images. Then have dinner at a local villagers' home.
- After the tour, get dropped off at your desired place in Jodhpur.
