Karnak Temple and the Avenue of Sphinxes

Meet your tour guide, who will pick you up from the hotel to begin a wonderful day tour discovering the Temple of Amun Re in the Karnak Temple complex.
Enjoy walking along the Avenue of Sphinxes, considered the sacred ancient Egyptian avenue where the god Amun and his entourage, Mut and Khonsu, passed during the Modern Kingdom Dynasty (1560-1050 B.C.) in an imposing procession during the Opet Festival (the Nile Inundation). You will also visit the Temple of Amenhotep III.
