Sharm el Sheikh Desert Safari and Bedouin Camp Experience
- Pickup from Sharm el Sheikh resorts
- Our representative will pick you up from your hotel, and you will be driven about 30 minutes into the desert to the quad bike centre.
- Get ready
- Your instructor will provide your safety helmet and explain how to drive the quad bike safely. It is easy and does not require any previous experience.
- Start your adventure
- First, you will drive your quad for about 20 minutes over flat desert sand to get used to the bike and build your confidence. At all times, you will be driving in a group, with your guide nearby in case you require assistance.
- You will then drive out to a valley between the mountains. Here, the group will spend roughly 40 minutes making the most of the sand dunes and hills in the area.
- Camel ride
- Next on the itinerary is camel riding in the Sinai Desert. Camel riding is another very popular activity, especially in Sharm el Sheikh. Usually, this short trip takes place at sunset, allowing tourists to enjoy the nice cool breeze and the amazing sun at dusk.
- Bedouin camp
- After your camel ride, we will travel to the Bedouin camp and take our first glimpse of traditional Bedouin life. Sit down in one of the tents, sip Habbak tea, and relax for a short time before sunset.
- Sunset over Wadi-Mander Valley
- We will ascend a small hill to capture the breathtaking views as the sun sets over the Wadi-Mander Valley.
- Bedouin dinner
- Make your way back down the hill to the tents in time for dinner. Our company ensures the highest quality of food hygiene, using mineral water for cooking and fresh produce cooked over an open fire. You can really enjoy the buffet-style dinner and complimentary soft drink.
- Entertainment
- Finally, we will sit down for an hour of folkloric shows such as fire eating, Tannoura, and belly dancing. You can even go up on stage and try belly dancing.
- Sharm el Sheikh stargazing
- After dinner, our Bedouin guide will escort the group to where the telescopes are set up to begin the stargazing. An English-speaking astronomer will speak to the group and explain what you can expect to see that night; usually, you will be able to see the moon's craters, Saturn, star constellations, and maybe even Mars.
- Return transfer
- At the end of the evening, your guide will transfer you back to your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh.
