The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival and Transfer to Sigiriya

Meet your guide at Colombo Airport and transfer to Sigiriya.
Arrive in Sigiriya, check in to the hotel, and enjoy some free time.

Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 02

Sigiriya Rock, Village Life, and Pidurangala Sunset

Have breakfast in the morning, then climb and explore the World Heritage Sigiriya Rock.
Later in the afternoon, join a Sigiriya village tour to experience the authentic village life of Sri Lankans and enjoy a traditional lunch.
In the evening, climb Pidurangala Rock to watch the sunset.

Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 03

Dambulla, Spice Garden, and Kandy Highlights

Check out from the hotel and transfer to Kandy.
Visit the Cave Temple of Dambulla. To fulfill a vow 2,000 years ago, a king converted a complex of caves into an interior painted cave temple complex. It is one of the best places to see and learn about the natural painting skills used by Sri Lankans in the early days.
Visit a spice and herbal farm and learn about Sri Lankan spices on the way.
Upon arrival in Kandy, head to the Tooth Temple.
Witness the Kandy Cultural Dance Show.

Day 04

Tea Country Journey and Scenic Train to Ella

Check out from the hotel and drive to Nuwara Eliya.
Visit tea plantations and a tea factory on the way to witness the process of making Ceylon tea.
After arriving in Nuwara Eliya, take the scenic train to Ella in the afternoon.

Day 05

Little Adam's Peak, Cooking Class, and Nine Arch Bridge

Have breakfast in the morning and hike to Little Adam's Peak.
Join a local cooking class to learn how the famous Sri Lankan rice and curry are prepared.
Take a short trek to visit the Nine Arch Bridge.

Overnight stay in Ella.

Day 06

Ravana Falls, Buduruwagala, and Udawalawa Safari

Enjoy breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel, and transfer to Udawalawa National Park.
See Ravana Falls and Buduruwagala Temple on the way.
Experience a safari at Udawalawa National Park.
After the safari, transfer to Mirissa.

Day 07

Blue Whale Watching in Mirissa

Go on a blue whale watching tour early in the morning in Mirissa.
Enjoy some free time at the hotel or on the beach.

During our visit, we will be visiting some Buddhist temples. Please wear suitable clothing for the temples, with shoulders and knees covered.
