Visit the temples of Abydos and Dendera
- Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and will escort you to Seti I Temple (Known as Abydos Temple). It was constructed by King Seti I and completed by Ramses II. The Pharaohs believed that the God of the underworld was buried at Abydos Temple. It is located in Sohag city, around 135 km. from Luxor. The best paintings of Pharaohs and Gods are already on the walls of Osiris Temple at Abydos.
- Move towards Dendara Temple (The Temple of Hathor). Hathor was the God of love and joy. Dendara Temple is around 60 km. from Luxor. It was constructed in the Roman period and is considered one of the latest Temples in Egypt. Dendara Temple's decoration was combined with the Roman Emperor and the Egyptian Gods.
- Transfer back to your hotel in Luxor.
