Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrive in Jakarta

   • Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up from Jakarta airport and arrive at your hotel for check-in.

2. Day 2: See the Highlights of Jakarta

   • Leave the hotel for the Jakarta city tour.
   • Stop to take pictures of the National Monument and the President's Palace. 
   • Continue driving to the old or colonial part of the city and stop at Fatahillah square. Afterwards, drive to Sunda Kelapa Harbour, an old traditional harbour, to see the Phinisi sailing ship. 
   • Head to Bogor for Bogor Botanical Garden (the biggest one with thousands of collections of trees, plants and flowers ). Have a lunch break at a local restaurant. 
   • Proceed for the trip to Bandung, the capital city of West Java.

3. Day 3: Visit the Famous Sites of Badung

   • Visit the Malabar Tea Plantation, the largest tea plantation in Indonesia. 
   • Head to the authentic house of Boscha and his grave. On the way back to the hotel, we will drive you around the city, passing by the Asia Afrika Building, Warenhuis de Vries, Gedung Sate (Governor's office of West Java).

4. Day 4: Board the Train to Yogyakarta

   • Depart to the train station in Bandung. The trip by train takes 7-8 hours. In the afternoon, arrive in Yogyakarta and transfer to your hotel.

5. Day 5: Witness the Beauty of Borobudur Temple

   • Depart to visit the Borobudur Temple (the biggest Buddhist temple in the world, one of the World's Wonder). On the way back to the hotel, we will stop at Silver Factory to see the whole process of the product from silver.
   • Arrive at the hotel in the afternoon. 

6. Day 6: Go Sightseeing in Yogyakarta

   • Depart from the hotel to the Prambanan Temple, the biggest Hindu temple in Indonesia, the Batik factory (authentic culture of Yogyakarta), Sultan Palace with beautiful collections of the Royal Family and a very big palace.

7. Day 7: Head to Solo

   • Have breakfast and continue the trip to Solo (sister city of Yogya). 
   • Visit the Palace of Sultan Solo (Uncle of Sultan Yogya) and the biggest traditional market in the city.

8. Day 8: Proceed to Batu-Malang

   • Start the tour to enjoy the panorama on the way to Batu/Malang. If time permits, we will stop to see the waterfall. 
   • Arrive at the hotel in the afternoon.

9. Day 9: Stroll through the Beautiful Markets of Malang

   • Have a relaxing day while enjoying the beautiful city of Malang and visit Flowers market, Birds Market, and Rainbow Village, passing by the colonial buildings.

10. Day 10: Witness a Beautiful Sunrise

    • Depart from the hotel at midnight and drive up to the viewpoint to witness the sunrise (2.767 m asl). The temperature can drop to zero degrees Celcius (average 5-10 °C ). To reach the highest viewpoint, we will drive through the jeep (4-wheel drive).
    • Continue to Kalibaru, a small dorp which is famous for plantation.

11. Day 11: Walk though the Plantations of Kalibaru

    • Walk through the plantations of coffee, cacao, coconuts, spicy plants, and rice fields, escorted by the owner. You will see the process of making brown sugar. You can taste the local product of the plantation (coffee, local cookies) while enjoying the traditional dance performance by the children of the plantation.

12. Day 12: Reach Bali

    • Depart from the hotel early morning to reach the harbour where you will cross the island of Java to Bali. It takes around 1 hour by ferry to cross th Bali straits.  
    • Arrive at the harbour of Bali. We will drive you further to your hotel.
