Day 01

Kanchanaburi History and Waterfall Escape

• Meet the tour guide, who will pick you up from your hotel or any other location in Bangkok at 7:00 a.m.
• Visit Kanchanaburi War Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. It is the main cemetery for prisoners of war (POWs). The cemetery contains 6,982 graves of British, Australian, and Dutch people.
• Proceed to the JEATH War Museum at 9:45 a.m., and later visit the bridge over the River Kwai from the Second World War. Go shopping at the various souvenir shops and try street food. Have lunch at a local restaurant at 12:00 p.m., where Thai food will be served.
• Start trekking on the nature trail at 13:00 along the 7 tiers of the waterfall. Appreciate the natural beauty, rest, and swim in the emerald-colour clear water of the falls. Enjoy every step at the waterfall.
• Depart from the waterfall at 16:00 and head back to your hotel in Bangkok. Arrive by 19:00.
