1. Explore the Highlights of Cairo

   • Meet the tour guide at your hotel and transfer to visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, which are considered the only ancient seven wonders, still remaining in the world. 
   • Proceed to the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of pharaoh Chefren 4500yeas old. Also, visit the Valley Temple.
   • Move to The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), which will amaze you with the number of artifacts dedicated to the entirety of Egyptian civilization. Connecting the past to the present, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization closely weaves together the vibrant heritage of Egypt, one of the oldest civilizations in the world. The Museum hosts a wide variety of artifacts ranging from prehistoric objects up to modern-day cultural symbols, embarking visitors on an enriching journey of Egyptian culture through time. Complementing the rich historical canvas of the whole area, the museum is located within close proximity to numerous archaeological sites. Overlooking the natural lake of Ein-Sira and overseeing the Citadel of Salah Al-Din at a distance, the museum is strategically positioned at the heart of Fustat, Egypt’s first Islamic capital.
   • Visit Royal Mummies: Hosting 20 of the fascinating pharaohs of Ancient Egypt. This gallery is designed to give a feel of strolling through the ancient hallways at the Valley of the Kings.
   • Go to Khan Al Khalili Bazaar, one of Cairo’s main attractions. The site of Khan Al Khalili was originally a mausoleum called “Turbat El Zaafran” (saffron tomb), which was the burial of Fatimid Caliphs. The mausoleum was part of the Fatimid great eastern palace complex, beginning in 970 AD. After that, it became a district for the Turkish community during the Ottoman period. However, now it has become a bazaar, where you will find many souvenir shops, coffeehouses “Café” serving Arabic coffee and offering Hookah “Shisha”, and restaurants throughout the area. Khan Al-Khalili is located in the middle of Cairo’s most important zone of economic activity. A traditional and wonderful bazaar that truly shows the true Egypt.
