Day 01

Kukup Fishing Village, Kelong Boat Trip and Tanjung Piai

• Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Johor Bahru city, or at another agreed-upon location, at 8:00 am.
• Proceed to the fishing village of Kukup. This quaint village is built on stilts above the muddy mangrove shoreline and has existed for more than 100 years. The settlement has over 1,400 people, nearly all Chinese, and most are engaged in fishing and catering to tourists. You may walk around the village on wooden or concrete boardwalks built on stilts above the mud and water. The village also has an International Ferry Terminal linking to Tanjung Balai in the Riau Province of Indonesia.
• Enjoy a boat trip to the floating fish farm, or "Kelong." Have fresh seafood and relax in the seaside atmosphere.
• After lunch, proceed to Tanjung Piai and visit the southernmost tip of mainland Asia. Experience a 1.4 km out-and-back trail that passes through the river, lush rainforest, and mangroves and, at the end of the route, takes you to the southernmost tip of mainland Asia.
• Return to the starting point of the tour by 4:00 pm.
