Day 01

Arrival in Cappadocia and Devrent Valley

  • Meet your tour guide in Cappadocia after arriving from Izmir via the Kayseri flight.
  • Start your day tour with a visit to Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley). The Cappadocia region is a dormant volcanic area, and the fairy chimneys and other rock formations began to take shape millions of years ago. As a result of these formations, pillars in various mushroom-like shapes have come to life and brought beauty to the land.

Day 02

Göreme Museum, Pottery Workshop, Çavuşin and Wine Tasting

  • Have breakfast and visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, the heart of Cappadocia. Göreme Open Air Museum is famous for frescoes dating to the 10th century that describe the life of Jesus Christ and monks.
  • Participate in a pottery workshop. This trip offers the opportunity to stop by a local pottery shop, where details are shared about how people survived and created beautiful art dating back to the Hittite period.
  • Stop at Çavuşin, an abandoned village with old Greek cave houses. After Çavuşin, go to a restaurant in Avanos for lunch.
  • Head to a wine shop in Ürgüp for wine tasting. The last stop is Three Beauties, where the three beautiful fairy chimneys with hats stand as Cappadocia's symbol.
  • End the tour at approximately 18:00 and return to your hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 03

Özkonak Underground City and Uçhisar Castle

  • Drive to Özkonak Underground City, one of the best-preserved and deepest underground cities in Cappadocia. Özkonak Underground City is 55 meters deep, and 8 levels are open to visitors.
  • End the day at Uçhisar Castle, the highest point of Cappadocia.
  • Transfer to the hotel and depart for Kayseri Airport for your domestic flight to Istanbul.
