Arenal Volcano Lava Flow and Rainforest Hike

  • Flexible schedule - we can start at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, or at your convenience.
  • We will meet in downtown La Fortuna. Then we will drive up to the trails to hike through the Arenal Volcano lava flow and its surroundings.
  • The hike can take place in secondary and/or primary rainforest, which provides opportunities to look for wildlife and connect with nature.
  • Gain a historical appreciation of the volcano's recent activity and how it changed the landscape and the nearby towns.
