The itinerary

Day 01

Arenal Volcano Lava Flow and Rainforest Hike

Flexible schedule - we can start at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, or at your convenience.
We will meet in downtown La Fortuna. Then we will drive up to the trails to hike through the Arenal Volcano lava flow and its surroundings.
The hike can take place in secondary and/or primary rainforest, which provides opportunities to look for wildlife and connect with nature.
Gain a historical appreciation of the volcano's recent activity and how it changed the landscape and the nearby towns.
