14-Day Uganda Safari from Entebbe with Gorilla and Chimp Tracking

Day 01

Arrival in Entebbe

• You will be picked up by our guide/driver and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. You will be briefed about the tour and advised of the pick-up time for the next day.

Day 02

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Transfer to Murchison

• Depart early in the morning for Murchison Falls National Park.
• Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos and have lunch here.
• After lunch, continue your journey to Murchison.

Day 03

Game Drive and Nile Launch Trip in Murchison Falls

• Enjoy an early morning game drive from 8 am to 12 noon, then have lunch before an impressive launch trip on the Nile from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Day 04

Delta Boat Trip and Evening Game Drive

• Take a 5-6 hour boat trip to the delta where the Nile enters Lake Albert, followed by an evening game drive.

Day 05

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

• Depart early in the morning for Kibale Forest National Park. On a clear day, you will pass close to Lake Albert and view the Albert Rift. In the afternoon, arrive at Kibale Forest, where you will spend the night with the sounds of the tropical rainforest.

Day 06

Chimpanzee Tracking and Community Walk

• Go chimpanzee tracking from 8 am, followed later in the afternoon by a community and swamp walk.

Day 07

To Queen Elizabeth National Park via Fort Portal

• Depart early in the morning for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travel through Fort Portal and reach Mweya in Queen Elizabeth National Park at around midday, with a stunningly beautiful view over the Kazinga Channel. An evening game drive will be conducted.

Day 08

Game Drives and Launch Trip in Queen Elizabeth

• Set out for early morning game drives on the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and enjoy an impressive launch trip after lunch.

Day 09

Kyambura Gorge Walk and Ishasha Game Drive

• Take a game walk in Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking, then continue with an afternoon game drive in the Ishasha sector in search of tree-climbing lions.

Day 10

Scenic Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

• In the morning, leave for Bwindi in the Buhoma sector. The scenic route runs through a verdant countryside as you pass traditional homesteads and farms.

Day 11

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi

• This day is dedicated to gorilla tracking, starting from 7:45 a.m. You will spend a maximum of one hour with the gorillas after meeting them. All visitors are expected back by 7 p.m.

Day 12

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

• Depart early in the morning for Lake Mburo National Park. Stop at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch and relaxation before proceeding to the park. An evening game drive will be conducted.

Day 13

Game Walk and Boat Trip on Lake Mburo

• An early morning game walk and a boat trip on Lake Mburo will be conducted.

Day 14

Return to Entebbe Airport

• Depart early in the morning for Entebbe Airport, with a stop at the Equator for lunch, photo shoots, and souvenir shopping.
