The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Entebbe

  • You will be picked up by our driver-guide and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
  • You will be briefed about the tour and advised of the pickup time for the next day.

Day 02

Entebbe to Kidepo Valley National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

  • After an early breakfast, you will set off for Kidepo Valley National Park.
  • Along Masindi Road, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.
  • We will have lunch here before proceeding to Kidepo.

Day 03

Game Drive, Game Walk, and Community Interaction in Kidepo

  • An early morning game drive will be conducted.
  • Later, there will be a game walk in Apoka in the afternoon, followed by interaction with the local community.

Day 04

Kidepo Valley National Park to Murchison Falls National Park

  • Leave early in the morning after breakfast for Murchison Falls National Park.
  • In the evening, a short game drive will be conducted.

Day 05

Morning and Afternoon Game Drives in Murchison Falls

  • After breakfast, we will have the first game drive.
  • After lunch, we will have the second game drive.

Day 06

Launch Trip on the River Nile

  • After breakfast, we will have an impressive launch trip on the River Nile. The trip will run for about 5-6 hours, and a short evening game drive will be added.

Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park

  • After breakfast, we will leave for Kibale Forest National Park.
  • We will pass close to Lake Albert and, on a clear day, view the Albert Rift.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Afternoon Swamp Walk

  • Chimpanzee tracking starts from 8 a.m.
  • Head for a community visit and swamp walk in the afternoon.

Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

  • Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast.
  • A short evening drive will be conducted.

Game Drive and Launch Trip on Kazinga Channel

  • Enjoy a morning game drive and an impressive launch trip on the Kazinga Channel.

Day 11

Kyambura Gorge Walk and Ishasha Lion Search

  • We have a game walk in Kyambura Gorge to meet chimpanzees and other primates.
  • After lunch, we head to the Ishasha sector in search of tree-climbing lions.

Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

  • Depart for Bwindi in the Buhoma sector.
  • The scenic route runs through a verdant countryside as you pass traditional homesteads and farms.

Day 13

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi

  • Gorilla tracking starts at 7:45 a.m. You will spend a maximum of 1 hour with the gorillas, and we are expected to return by 7 p.m.

Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park

  • Depart for Lake Mburo National Park after breakfast.
  • Have lunch at Igongo Cultural Center before proceeding to the park.
  • Take an evening drive in Lake Mburo National Park.

Game Walk, Boat Trip, and Evening Drive in Lake Mburo

  • Enjoy an early morning game walk in the park.
  • Experience a boat trip on Lake Mburo.
  • Take a short evening game drive.

Day 16

Return to Entebbe Airport

  • Early morning departure for Entebbe.
  • Halt at the Equator for lunch, photo shoots, and buying souvenirs.
