Day 01

Carthage and Sidi Bou Said Discovery

Visit the archaeological site of Carthage and the Moorish village of Sidi Bou Said.

Overnight in Tunis.

Day 02

Testour, Dougga, and Tunis Medina

Take a short stop in Testour, the small rural Moorish town.
Visit Dougga, the best-preserved ancient Roman city in Tunisia.
Explore the Tunis Medina.

Overnight in Tunis.

Day 03

Kairouan, Sousse, and El Djem

Visit the holy city of Kairouan, including the mosque, mausoleum, and medina.
Go to the archaeological museum of Sousse.
Walk across the Sousse Medina and head to the Arab Ribat.

Overnight in El Djem.

Day 04

El Djem, Matmata, and Zemmour

Visit the Roman colosseum, the biggest monument in Africa.
Discover the Berber village of Matmata, known for its underground dwellings called Troglodytes.
Drive across the Dahar mountain range.
Head to the Ksar of Zemmour for hiking, climbing, and walking.

Overnight in Zemmour.

Day 05

Tataouine, Djerba, and Return to Tunis

Explore the Dahar area.
Visit the Berber village of Chenini in Tataouine.
Head to Ksar Ouled Soltane, an ancient Berber granary.
Then, go to the Djerba Synagogue called Ghriba (confirmation a day before).
Next, proceed to Houmet Essouk, the capital of Djerba.
Afterwards, fly back to Tunis.

Overnight in Tunis and end of services.
