Description
Embark on a 10-day wildlife safari and nature trip to Tanzania to witness the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras and the famous Big Five. Do exciting game drives at the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and trek along the "off the beaten track" to Lake Natron and explore Manyara's tree-climbing lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos. Head the Tarangire to witness its high-density population of Elephants and Baobab Trees.
Itinerary

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha – Lake Manyara
- Pick up from the hotel, then transfer to Manyara with packed lunch.
- Cultural tourism and evening walk around Manyara banana village.
Dinner and overnight stay at a selected camp.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive at Lake Manyara National Park
- After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in the park till late in the afternoon.
- Have lunch at the picnic site inside the park.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Lake Natron
- After breakfast, drive to Lake Natron with picnic lunch boxes. It is a hard journey through a rough and dusty road, but it is worth the effort and is made easier by the beautiful and spectacular scenery en route. In particular, hiking the Ngarasero Escarpment, with its waterfalls and gorge, is breathtaking. Natron is a remote location with a real sense of isolation and serenity. The lake is home to more than a million flamingos, more particularly the pinkish-white plumage flamingos. The flamingos feed on the Spirulina algae abundant in the waters of Lake Natron.

Day 4: Lake Natron
- Full day at Lake Natron, visit the canyon and river Engare Sero and Massa tribe village.

Day 5: Lake Natron – Serengeti
- After an early start, travel along exciting dirt tracks with wondrous views as your vehicle climbs out of the Rift Valley to reach the wide-open plains of the Serengeti by midday.
- Safari starts from North East (kopjes). The Serengeti is the most famous park in Tanzania, as it is home to the largest animal migration on the planet.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
- Early morning game drive, viewing in Serengeti Seronera wildebeest migration.
- Come back for breakfast and later proceed with the predator view game drive.

- Full-day game drive.

Day 8: Serengeti – Lake Eyasi
- Visit Lake Eyasi and explore the land of the Hadzabe people, a dry and hot area where these hunters and gatherers are believed to have lived for over 10,000 years. Lake Eyasi itself varies in size according to the rain and will be a little parched bed in the dry season.

Day 9: Lake Eyasi - Ngorongoro Crater
- After breakfast, descend down the crater for half day crater tour till late afternoon.
- After lunch, start ascending the crater rim on your way to Karatu town.

Day 10: Karatu – Tarangire National Park - Moshi/Arusha
- After breakfast, move to Tarangire National Park for an adventure-packed day of game driving. This park is dominated by the perennial Tarangire River and is characteristically known for its giant baobab trees that stretch and wind their branches into the blue sky. The most spectacular feature of Tarangire is its large elephant population. It has the largest population of any park in northern Tanzania. These gentle giants abound more than 3,000. Tarangire is currently experiencing an elephant baby boom, and you will notice a lot of juniors and babies as members of the herd.
- Also, see zebra, eland, mongoose, giraffe, bushbuck, hartebeest, dik-dik, impala, warthog, and reedbuck.
- Primates you may encounter are olive baboon, velvet monkey and bush baby. Many carnivores are abundant throughout the park, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and jackals.
- After the game drive, return to Moshi or Arusha.
