Day 01

Lake Sevan, Sevanavank, Tavush and Dilijan

Meet your guide and depart from Yerevan to see the magnificent Lake Sevan, also called the Pearl of Armenia, about 1 hour from Yerevan. One of the largest mountain lakes in the world, this lake impresses visitors with its unparalleled beauty, surrounded by majestic mountain ranges.
Visit the medieval Sevanavank Monastery, dating back to the 9th century, towering over the lake's turquoise waters. There is also a possibility of swimming and boat trips if time permits.
Continue to Tavush, a region adored by Armenian locals for its rich nature, green mountains, and ancient monasteries, about half an hour from Sevan.
Explore the city of Dilijan and stroll through its streets. Also see the remarkable Haghartsin Monastery. This magnificent monastery complex once housed a large monastic community and was destroyed several times; however, it was completely restored in the 2000s.
Later, return to Yerevan to conclude the tour.
