Day 01

Arrival in Dakar

Arrive at Dakar airport and transfer to your choice of hotel.

Day 02

Dakar Museums, Markets and Landmarks

Get picked up from your hotel early in the morning at 7 am after breakfast.
Explore the Museum of Black Civilisation, a newly created museum where you can see how the first human beings from East Africa conquered the world through an exhibition of diverse African arts and cultures related to their sublime rituals. This museum shelters wonders.
If open, make a stop at Dakar's biggest cathedral to take amazing photos.
Visit the Soumbedioune Craft Market and its workshops. Here, you can observe artisans making their traditional handicraft items.
Spend some time at the Divinity Mosque and end the tour at the Monument of the African Renaissance.
Return to your hotel.

Day 03

Gorée Island Heritage Tour

Get picked up from your hotel early in the morning at 7 am after breakfast.
Arrive at Gorée Island by ferry or small boat.
Visit the Doors of No Return in the Slave House.
Discover the Catholic Church and explore the historical museums.
Return to your hotel.

Day 04

Pink Lake and Lompoul Desert Adventure

Get picked up from your hotel early in the morning at 7 am after breakfast.
Head to see the Pink Lake, the former finishing point of the Dakar Rally. There, you will see how the salt seekers harvest the salt from the lake.
Go in a jeep through the sand dunes to the beach.
Have lunch at Chez Salim Hotel, then head for the Lompoul Desert, a desert with orange dunes.
Go for a camel ride safari and visit a local village for an immersion in the local culture.
Afterwards, head to Dakar.
Return to your hotel.
