Description
Embark on this sightseeing excursion to travel across the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka. Explore life and sites of chaotic Old Dhaka by exploring the attractions like Lalbagh Fort, Ahsan Manzil, Shaheed Minar and the National Parliament Building. Pay a respectful visit to the Star Mosque and Armenian Church, and ride a local boat in the river Buriganga to explore the busy activities on the riversides.

Dhaka Sightseeing Tour
- Connect with your tour guide at the meeting point to start the program itinerary.
- Begin by visiting the National Parliament Building of Bangladesh, a popular building. The building was designed by the famous architect Louis Kahn.
- Go to the Unversity of Dhaka. This is the best University in Bangladesh. There are also some monuments and sculptures. This university played a vital role in the independence of Bangladesh. Curzon Hall is one of the popular attractions of Dhaka University.
- Then, head to Lalbagh Fort, a Mughal Fort standing near the Buriganga River. This is an incomplete fort of the 17th century built by Muhammad Azam Shah in 1678 AD. (Note: Lalbagh Fort is closed on Sunday. We will skip this attraction if you want to book this tour on Sunday)
- Look at Shaheed Minar. This monument is very important in the history of Bangladesh. This was made for the martyr who lied about their life in 1952 for the Bangla language.
- After lunch at a local restaurant with local foods, Pay respects at the Star Mosque. This mosque, also known as Tara Masjid), is a mosque located in the Armanitola area, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The mosque has ornate designs and is decorated with motifs of blue stars. It was built in the first half of the 19th century by Mirza Golam Pir.
- Next, go to the American Church. It is also known as the Armenian Apostolic Church of the Holy Resurrection) it is a historically significant architectural monument situated in the Armanitola area of old Dhaka, Bangladesh. The church bears testimony to the existence of a significant Armenian community in the region in the 17th and 18th centuries.
- Now, head to the Buriganga River. It flows past the southwest outskirts of Dhaka city, the capital of Bangladesh. Riding on a ferry boat on the Buriganga river is always a favourite of tourists.
- Afterwards, explore Ahsan Manzil (Pink Palace). Ahsan Manzil is situated in Old Dhaka on the bank of the Buriganga River. This is also known as Pink Palace, the residential palace of the Nawabs of Dhaka. (Ahsan Manjil will remain closed on Thursday. If you want to book this tour on Thursday, we will skip this attraction.
