The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Delhi and Hotel Transfer

  • Meet the driver in Delhi and transfer to the hotel.
  • Enjoy the rest of the time at leisure or visit the market.

Day 02

Drive from Delhi to Jaipur and Visit Hawa Mahal

  • Take a 6-hour drive from Delhi to Jaipur and check in to the hotel.
  • Then, visit the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds, built with red and pink sandstone, which makes it stand out from its surroundings. The palace is a five-storey, pyramidal-shaped monument and was built by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799.
  • Shop at Johari Bazaar, a shopper's paradise and a must-visit in Jaipur. This market of exquisite jewellery and artefacts can immerse shoppers in its glittering glory. It is considered one of the oldest markets in Jaipur city.
  • Travel back to the hotel and stay the night in Jaipur.

Day 03

Jaipur City Tour with Amer Fort and Jantar Mantar

  • Have breakfast and then begin the Jaipur city tour.
  • Visit Amer Fort, situated on top of a hill and built by Raja Man Singh I. It is known for its artistic elements and unique architecture. The Maota Lake in front of the monument acts as a water source for the fort.
  • Spend time at the City Palace and learn about its history. It was originally the administrative and ceremonial seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, constructed in 1721. It was also the location of religious and cultural events that took place at that time. It now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum and continues to be the home of the Jaipur royal family.
  • Explore Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in 1734. It is a collection of nineteen astronomical instruments built by Rajput King Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. The instruments allow the observation of astronomical positions with the naked eye.
  • Travel to Jal Mahal, a floating palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The palace and the lake were renovated and expanded in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber.

Day 04

Journey to Pushkar and Sacred Temple Visits

  • After breakfast, depart for Pushkar.
  • Visit Brahma Temple, Pushkar's best-known temple, which dates back to the 14th century.
  • Spend time at Pushkar Lake, a sacred lake for Hindus, and visit a few of the 400 adjoining temples lining its banks.

Day 05

Drive to Agra via Chand Baori and Fatehpur Sikri

  • Take a 7-hour drive from Pushkar to Agra.
  • Visit Chand Baori, built during the 8th and 9th centuries. It has 3,500 narrow steps arranged in perfect symmetry, descending 20 m to the bottom of the well.
  • After that, halt for sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, a small city in northern India founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at the city centre. Enter through the grand Buland Darwaza gate, which leads to the entrance of the Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti. Also, check out Jodha Bai's Palace, a unique fusion of Hindu and Mughal architectural styles.
  • Later, check in at the Agra hotel. The rest of the time is free for leisure or to visit the market on your own.

Day 06

Agra Tour with Taj Mahal and Agra Fort

  • After breakfast, visit the Taj Mahal, an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the southern bank of the Yamuna River in Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a magnificent sight for the eyes.
  • Travel to Agra Fort, a historic fort that was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Before colonial rule, the last Indian rulers to occupy the fort were the Marathas.
  • In the evening, visit the old Agra market by yourself.

Day 07

Return to Delhi and Explore Chandni Chowk

  • After a 5-hour journey, reach Delhi and check in to the hotel.
  • After that, go to Chandni Chowk. Take a cycle rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk and Khari Baoli Spice Market, a busy shopping area with markets full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewellery, and vivid saris, while the narrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery, and traditional Indian sweets.

Day 08

Delhi Sightseeing and Departure

  • Upon arrival in Delhi, explore the following attractions:
    • Red Fort: Shah Jahan constructed the Red Fort in 1638. It was the main residence of the Mughal Dynasty and is located in the city centre. It is made from red sandstone, which is where it gets its name. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007.
    • Qutub Minar: A five-storey tapering tower with a height of 73 metres. The spiral staircase in this minaret has 379 steps. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is visited by many every day.
    • Jama Masjid: One of the largest mosques in the country, Jama Masjid is made of red sandstone and marble. It was constructed by Shah Jahan and is visited by hundreds of people every day. The courtyard of the mosque can accommodate about 25,000 people and was built for about one million Indian rupees.
    • Humayun's Tomb: The tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. It was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1558, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad, Persian architects chosen by her.
    • Connaught Place: A frenetic business and financial hub centred on a ring of colonnaded Georgian-style buildings with global chain stores, vintage cinemas, bars, and Indian restaurants. Stalls at Janpath Market sell saris, embroidered bags, and trinkets.
  • At night, the guest will be dropped off at Delhi Airport or any desired location in Delhi, marking the end of this tour.
