Sunrise Taj Mahal and Agra Fort Tour
- Prepare for a very early departure for this 13-hour private excursion from Delhi to Agra.
- Get picked up from your hotel in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, or the airport. You can choose pickup from the airport or your hotel at 2:30 am. Drive to Agra via the Expressway and enjoy 3-4 hours of a peaceful ride in a private air-conditioned car.
- Meet your guide at the meeting location as soon as you arrive in Agra. The Taj Mahal is about 2 minutes away. Here, you may unwind with a welcome beverage, and restroom facilities are also available.
- Reach Agra before sunrise and head straight to the Taj Mahal. As the sun's rays begin to fall on the white monument, the whole structure starts sparkling and looks majestic and beautiful.
- Following your tour of the Taj Mahal, continue to the neighbouring Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This magnificent red sandstone fort encloses the imperial palace of the Mughal emperors behind its 2.5 km-long walls. It contains several fairy-tale palaces, including Shah Jahan's marvels at the Jahangir Palace. You can either visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb or Agra Fort. The Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah was the first Mughal mausoleum erected on the banks of the Yamuna, which had previously been a series of lovely pleasure gardens. It was also the first to use a significant amount of pietra dura.
- Your final excursion in the city includes free time for souvenir shopping at your own expense. The intricate handicrafts and embroidered work produced in Agra are increasingly acknowledged. Visit the site, then have lunch at a nearby eatery at your own expense.
- Start your return trip by private car to your selected location in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, or Jaipur after exploring all these great attractions.
