Sarajevo Heritage and War History Tour

Royal Jajce and Historic Travnik

On day 8, explore Jajce, known as the "royal" city because it was once the residence of the Bosnian kings. It is the world's only city with a natural waterfall in the city centre and is also known as the birthplace of modern Yugoslavia in 1943. Pliva Mills and Pliva Lakes are wonderful natural additions to this tour and will help you appreciate the beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina even more.
See Travnik, the Ottoman vizier's town, the birthplace of Nobel Prize winner Ivo Andrić, the stunning Plava Voda springs, and the old Ottoman fortress.
