Itinerary

1. Day 1: Moshi to Tarangire National Park

   We will depart from Moshi/Arusha/airport in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, where colossal termite mounds and ancient baobab trees await us. This park is renowned for its immense elephant population, picturesque scenery and diverse bird life. When our game drive ends, we will proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater rim campsite and witness the glorious sunset.

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

   We will have a timely start to the day to ensure that we arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater early morning game drives, providing you with an excellent opportunity to spot wildlife. We will enjoy a wonderful game drive with an appetising picnic lunch inside the crater. The elevated structure encourages the animals to settle inside the crater so that you can spot every member of ‘The Big 5’ in one day. The big five dominate the savannah and consist of buffalo, lions, elephants, rhinos and leopards. Normally guides have close contact with the other safari drivers so that they can share information on where to track down hidden animals to ensure that you have an eventful day. Dinner will be served, and spend the night at the Fanaka Campsite.

3. Day 3: Lake Manyara to Moshi

   In the morning, we will depart for Lake Manyara, where we will spend the day and enjoy a delectable picnic lunch. Lake Manyara has abundant species that can reside in the park due to the wide range of habitats. The wildlife you can expect to see are buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas and the ferocious hippos that inhabit the water. Our trip will come to an end in the late afternoon. We will proceed to Moshi, or transportation can be arranged on request.
