Day by day
Arrival at Cochin railway station or airport.
Proceed to Munnar, which has a vast expanse of tea plantations, and whose moderate climate throughout the year makes it a little heaven for visitors.
Visit Rajamala, home to the highly endangered mountain goats, the Nilgiri Thars.
Overnight in Munnar.
After breakfast, proceed to Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forest and a vast expanse of grassland on one side, and the Kundala tea plantation on the other.

After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady and arrive by noon.
Spend the afternoon at Periyar Lake, around which the sanctuary is located. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat.
Stay in Thekkady.
After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom.
By noon, check in at the backwater resort in Kumarakom.
Enjoy the afternoon at leisure.
Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey.
By noon, check in to the houseboat in Alleppey for 20 hours of houseboating in the backwaters of Kerala. On the way, you will witness a full range of lifestyle and activities, along with some mind-boggling scenery.
Stay overnight on the houseboat. The houseboat is a private boat with a fully furnished spacious bath, attached bedrooms, a hygienic kitchen, a dining area, and a private front deck to capture the beauty of the backwaters.
Get down from the houseboat and proceed to Cherai.
In the evening, visit Cherai Beach.
Stay overnight in Cherai.
Check out from the hotel and proceed to Cochin for shopping.
In the afternoon, leave for Cochin airport or railway station for your onward journey.
