Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Cairo

Meet your tour guide, who will pick you up in Cairo at any agreed-upon location and assist you with the arrival procedures. Transfer to the hotel, followed by a quick review of the trip program, including pick-up times and places.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 02

Giza Plateau and Egyptian Museum

Have breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, then meet your personal guide, who will accompany you to the Giza Plateau to visit the three Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.
See the Great Sphinx, which consists of a pharaonic human head and a lion's body.
Continue to visit the Valley Temple in front of the Sphinx, dedicated to King Chephren, and then proceed for lunch at a local restaurant.
Transfer to the Egyptian Museum, which exhibits a wide range of unique pharaonic antiquities, in addition to the original treasure room of King Tutankhamun, gold, and jewellery dating back more than 3,500 years.
Head to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner on the train.

Day 03

Aswan Cruise and Ancient Monuments

Have breakfast on the train and arrive in Aswan.
Transfer to the cruise for boarding before lunch, and later visit the world-famous High Dam.
Move on to see the majestic Philae Temple, which was built in honour of Goddess Isis, the chief deity of the island.
Visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which is believed to belong to Queen Hatshepsut.

Dinner on board and overnight in Aswan.

Day 04

Kom Ombo and Edfu Temple Visits

Sail to Kom Ombo. Breakfast will be served on board.
Begin your day tour with a visit to the temple shared by two gods, Sobek and Haeroris, in Kom Ombo.
Proceed to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus, which is dedicated to the falcon god. Lunch is served on board. Later, sail to Esna to cross the lock.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 05

Luxor West Bank Highlights

Sail to Luxor. Breakfast is served on board.
Begin your Luxor tour with a visit to the West Bank, where you can observe the Valley of the Kings, which was used for burials in the New Kingdom. Many kings are buried in this valley, such as Tut-Ankh-Amun and King Ramses. You will visit 3 tombs.
Visit Queen Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahari, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman who ruled Egypt for 20 years. You will also visit the Colossi of Memnon, gigantic statues of Amenhotep III. Lunch and afternoon tea will be served on board.
Transfer to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Cairo.
