Itinerary

Guided Tour of Faiyum & Meidum Pyramid
- Early in the morning, our guide will pick you up at your hotel to start the trip to the city of Faiyum (110 km) south of Cairo to see the impressive and fertile landscapes of the Faiyum oasis.
- The first visit is to the archaeological zone of Meidum and where the pyramid of Pharaoh Honi of the third dynasty is located, you can visit it from the inside.
- Then, we will continue to the pyramid of Hawara, built of adobe, dating from the Middle Kingdom.
- Next, we will follow the road to a dated temple that gives the Roman era, known as Qasr Qarun passing through Lake Qarun, one of the most important areas of the oasis. Its saline waters are below sea level.
- On the way back along the same road, we will enjoy lunch on the shores of Lake Qarun. In this place, we can appreciate the rich local fauna, characterized especially by the great diversity of birds and birds.
- In the afternoon, we will return back to the hotels in Cairo.
