Day 01

Nairobi to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley

Pick up at the airport or your Nairobi hotel in the morning by your driver-guide for a briefing before departing for Masai Mara. The journey to the Mara takes around 5-6 hours. Along the way, stop at the Great Rift Valley, where you can take photos of the dramatic escarpment, as well as the nearby Suswa Ranges and Mount Longonot.

Continue to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is an ideal place to visit in Kenya, offering a unique natural reserve with an incredible number of wild animals. Together with Tanzania's Serengeti, the Masai Mara forms a giant ecosystem where animals roam freely. It is especially famous for having Africa's largest lion population, and you have an excellent chance to photograph the Big Five - elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions, and leopards. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
