Day 01

Johannesburg and Soweto Heritage Exploration

• Meet your tour guide, who will pick you up from your hotel at 9:00 a.m.
• Make a 20-minute stop at Constitution Hill at 9:45, then drive through Braamfontein and across Mandela Bridge at 10:15.
• Visit the Newtown area to admire the graffiti at 10:30, and continue through downtown to Maboneng at 10:45.
• Learn about South African history at the Apartheid Museum for 2 hours from 11:15, then drive to Soweto via Dk, Bara, and the Orlando Towers at 13:15.
• See Vilakazi Street and the Mandela and Tutu houses at 14:15. Take a 20-minute tour of Mandela House.
• Pay your respects at the Hector Pieterson Memorial at 14:45, and get dropped off at your stay by 17:00.
