- In the morning, our representative and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by a private A.C car to start an incredible day trip starting with Giza Pyramids Complex- The three main pyramids of Giza (Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure) are sufficient enough to build a 2-meter-long wall and span 100,000 square kilometres around the globe along with the equator.
- The Great Pyramid of King Khufu is considered largely to represent the spirit of ancient Egypt, King Khufu who built this Pyramid as a cemetery has left little information about his reign. Khufu ruled for about twenty-four years. Ironically, despite the enormity of his pyramid, the only statue of King Khufu himself is a really small statue carved from ivory, about three inches long.
- Afterwards, head to visit the Magical Sphinx. Who among us when mentioning the name of the Sphinx does not think about this stone sculpture carved in the form of the human head and lion body, which is located in the Giza plateau in Egypt. The Sphinx is one of the oldest and the largest sculptures in the world, it’s about 73.5 meters long and 6 meters wide. There have been many different opinions about the symbol represented by the Sphinx, Old views said that it represents the wisdom of man and the strength of the lion together and these qualities were applicable to “King Khafre“.
- After that, continue your day tour from Cairo to the Pyramids by paying a visit to the Valley Temple. It was used as a place for the embalming process. This temple was constructed definitely for two functions: First, it was used for the purification of the mummy before its burial. Second, it was used for making the Mummification process of the king.
- Enjoy your lunch and it will be served at a local restaurant before heading to enjoy an excursion to Saqqara Step Pyramid. Saqqara step pyramid was built in the era of the third dynasty in Sakkara, Egypt. Designed by the Architect Imhotep, it consists of six layers, it is considered the first royal tomb and one of the oldest stone buildings in Egypt.
- Complete your experience by a tour of the Dahshour Pyramid including:
- The Red Pyramid- The red pyramid is called that due to the colour of its red-brown stone. The pyramid was not red at first. it was covered with a white layer of limestone. When this layer was removed, the red stones appeared, it’s located a short distance from Saqqara built in Dahshur by Pharaoh Sinifro, the father of Pharaoh Khufu. The Red Pyramid is the second-largest base among all Egyptian Pyramids.
- The Bent Pyramid- The Bent Pyramid, A wonderful example of early Pyramid development in Egypt. It was built by the great pharaoh Snefru and it was actually the second pyramid built by him. Bent Pyramid appears as a transitional form between smooth-sided and steep-sided pyramids.
- Later, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo.
