3-Day Wayanad Expedition from Calicut with Wildlife and Cave Trek

• Your Wayanad trip starts on your arrival at Calicut airport or railway station. Our representative/chauffeur will welcome you at the arrival terminal or gate, and you will be driven directly to the resort.
• On the way, you will be delighted by the mesmerizing sight of hills and lakes reflecting the surrounding lustrous forests, caves, small streams, and miniature waterfalls.
• Upon arrival, you will be cordially led into the leisure of your hotel room.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

• After a healthy breakfast at the hotel in the morning, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in Wayanad. A trek up Ambukuthi Hill near Ambalavayal takes you to the Neolithic cave site of Edakkal.
• Later, visit the Muthanga forest in the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can watch herds of wild elephants along with other mammals and birds.
• After lunch, proceed to Kuruva Island. This beautiful island occupies 955 acres of green forest on the tributaries of the east-flowing Kabani River.
• Next, you will be driven back to your hotel.

• After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Vythiri, just 12 km from Kalpetta.
• Visit Pookode Lake, the enduring freshwater lake nestled among wooded hills, 3 km south of Vythiri. You can also enjoy boating on the lake.
• Later, we will drive you back to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
