10-Day Upper Svaneti Trekking Tour from Tbilisi with Ushguli

• On this day, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to Upper Svaneti.

Overnight in a guesthouse in the village of Mazeri.

Tour details: By minivan - 430 km (6-7 hours)

• After breakfast, the group will meet the guides and their assistants. Following an inspection of the hiking equipment, the group will start hiking and enjoy marvellous views of Ushba Peak and Shdugra Waterfall.
• In the evening, you will return to the village of Mazeri, where you will be able to relax and taste delicious Georgian dishes.

Overnight in a guesthouse in the village of Mazeri.

Tour details: Trekking - 12 km (3-4 hours); Altitude difference - 1600 m-2000 m

• After breakfast (08:00-09:00), you will travel to Mestia.
• Visit the temples of Latali and Lenjeri, the Museum of Mestia, and the Chalaadi Glacier.
• In the evening, during dinner, you will be able to taste traditional Svanetian dishes.

Overnight will be in a guesthouse in Mestia.

Tour details: By minivan - 40 km (1 hour); Trekking - 7 km (2-3 hours); Altitude difference - 1600 m-2020 m

• Have your breakfast (07:00-08:00); then, on this day, you will see the wonderful Koruldi Lakes and picturesque Zuruldi Mountain.
• You will get to the mountain by cable car, from where you will have astonishing panoramic views of the Svanetian Caucasus.
• You will dine and relax in the evening.

Overnight will be in Mestia Guesthouse.

Tour details: Trekking - 13 km (5-6 hours); By minivan - 25 km (1-1.30 hour); Altitude difference - 2100 m-2745 m

• After breakfast, you will begin the path from the town of Mestia towards the Mulakhi community and visit its beautiful villages.
• In the evening, you will dine and relax.

Overnight in the village of Zhabeshi.

Tour details: Trekking - 14 km (6-7 hours); Altitude difference - 1700 m-2050 m-1600 m

• After breakfast, you will drive by minivan to Ughviri Pass, from where spectacular panoramic views unfold.
• Later, you will descend to the village of Adishi via a footpath, where you will have dinner and rest.

Overnight in Adishi.

Tour details: By minivan - 10 km (30 minutes); Trekking - 7 km (3-4 hours); Altitude difference - 2480 m-2030 m

• After breakfast, you will follow the path towards the village of Iprali.
• On the way, you will see and enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the Adishi Glacier and its surroundings.
• You will meet a minivan in the village of Iprali, which will transfer you to the Ushguli community.

You will dine, rest, and overnight in Ushguli.

Tour details: Trekking - 16 km (6-7 hours); By minivan - 10 km (30 minutes); Altitude difference - 2030 m-2722 m-1800 m

• After breakfast, you will visit the Ushguli community. The village of Chazhashi, which belongs to the Ushguli community, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• If interested, you can visit the glacier of Georgia's highest mountain, Shkhara (5200 m).
• In the evening, we will celebrate the successful completion of the tour, where you will also be able to taste traditional Svanetian dishes.

You will spend the night in Ushguli.

• After breakfast, through Zagaro Pass and Lower Svaneti, we will drive to Kutaisi.
• On the way, you will visit the marvellous Prometheus Cave.
• After dinner, the group will head to Tbilisi and overnight in the capital.

• Transfer to Tbilisi Airport to board your return flight.
