Qagheni, Talin Katoghike and Mastara Churches Tour
- 8:30 am - Meet your tour guide and start your tour from Yerevan.
- 10:00 am - Reach Qagheni. Qagheni settlement, also known as Qaghen settlement, Qaghen fortress, or Dashtadem fortress, is a large fortress in Dashtadem village of the Aragatsotn region of the Republic of Armenia. It includes the ruins of the ancient settlement, the monastery of St. Christopher, the Dashtadem fortress, the citadel inside the fortress, the church, and other structures.
- 11:00 am - Take a break.
- 1:15 pm - Visit Talin Katoghike Church. Katoghike Church is one of the oldest churches in Armenia and is well worth a visit.
- 2:15 pm - Visit St. Hovhannes Church in Mastara. The Church of Saint John (Surp Hovanes), also known as Mastara Church, dates from the 5th century. It features a variation of the cruciform plan and a central cupola. In accordance with its square plan, the four projecting apses, inward-facing circular and outward-facing polygonal, provide the necessary support for the imposing polygonal cupola.
- 3:00 pm - Walk to St. Stepanos Church.
- 5:30 pm - Return from Mastara to Yerevan.
