Day 01

Chelsea Market and High Line Walk

Begin in the historic Market District, once home to factories, slaughterhouses, and the original meat market, and now transformed into an extremely trendy district filled with restaurants and fashion stores.
Continue through Chelsea Market, a food hall, shopping mall, office building, and television production facility located in the Chelsea neighbourhood of Manhattan.
Then head up to the High Line, once a working railway on the West Side of Manhattan and now a 1.45-mile-long elevated linear park, greenway, and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad line. The High Line's design is a collaboration between James Corner Field Operations, Diller Scofidio, and Piet Oudolf.
