Day 01
Same-Day Jaipur Tour by Car from Delhi
- Your driver will pick you up from your Delhi hotel or the airport and drive to Jaipur, a journey of about 4 hours and 30 minutes.
- On arrival, meet your Jaipur guide and explore the Pink City of Jaipur. Visit Amber Fort, located 11 km from Jaipur, the ancient capital of the Jaipur state. The fort palace was constructed in 1652 by Raja Mansingh and was later extended and completed by Jai Singh before the move to Jaipur.
- Enjoy an elephant ride while climbing up to Amber Fort.
- Visit Jal Mahal, located 6 km away on the way to Amber. This small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Renovation work around the lake is in progress.
- Have lunch at an Indian restaurant near Jal Mahal.
- Visit the City Palace, the principal residence of the former ruling family, known for its stunning architecture. It also includes museums, courtyards, and gardens.
- Go to Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Wind), a beautiful pink-coloured building with many small windows from which the royal ladies watched the annual procession of the kingdom. Tourists can take photographs from outside only.
- Go to Albert Hall Museum, drive past it, and take pictures from the outside.
- After finishing the sightseeing, drive back to Delhi.
- On arrival in Delhi, get dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
