Day 01

Full-Day Delhi Heritage and Monument Tour

Pick up from the hotel at 9:30 am and proceed to the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Explore the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
Visit India Gate. At the centre of the city, this 42-metre-high stone arch is a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers who fought and died in the campaigns of World War I and the Afghan War.
See the President House, built in 1929, once the imperial residence of the British Viceroys and now the official residence of the President of the Indian Republic.
See the Parliament House. This circular-shaped building houses the two houses of Parliament - the Lok Sabha (Lower House) and Rajya Sabha (Upper House). Its domed central hall is 90 feet in diameter.
Visit Humayun's Tomb, the tomb of the Mughal emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begam.
Visit the Lotus Temple (closed every Monday).
Go to Qutub Minar. At 73 metres, it is the tallest brick minaret in the world and the second-highest minar in India after Fateh Burj in Punjab. Qutub Minar and the ancient and medieval monuments surrounding it form the Qutb complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tower is located in the Mehrauli area of Delhi, India.
