Day 01

Nairobi CBD Heritage Walk

  • This tour is based in Nairobi Central District and offers an opportunity to discover and learn the history of Nairobi.
  • After the meet-up, the tour continues along Kimathi Street, where you will have the opportunity to see the oldest hotel in Nairobi and the Freedom Fighters Memorial Monument. From there, join Kenyatta Avenue, the banking street of Nairobi and the widest and longest street in the city, known for hosting a good number of monuments and statues.
  • Later, proceed to Macmillan Library before continuing to Jeevanjee Garden, a very unique and historical public park in the city centre.
  • Then turn onto Koinange Street and head back through Loita Street, joining Cardinal Otunga Street, passing by the Kenyan Parliament and the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, before ending the tour at the starting point at the BATA shop next to Hilton Hotel.
