Day 01

Victoria Falls Tour on the Zambia and Zimbabwe Sides

• Meet your tour guide, who will pick you up from your lodge or hotel in Livingstone and head to the Victoria Falls entrance.
• Listen to the safety briefing from your guide at 7:15 and start the tour at 7:30. Walk through the area while learning from your professional safari guide, who will explain detailed information about the falls.
• See the Boiling Point at 8:30 and then head to the Zimbabwe side of the falls at 9:15.
• Go through the immigration process on both sides at 9:20 a.m. Start the tour of the falls, and your guide will provide information about the Zimbabwe side.
• End the tour by 10:40 and return to your stay by 11:30.

Know before you go

• Victoria Falls is 1,708 meters wide, making it the largest falling curtain of water in the world, and it drops between 90-108 metres into the Zambezi Gorge, with an average of 550,000 cubic litres of water plunging over the edge every minute. In the driest months of the year (October-November), the falls on the Zambian side dry up completely, and you will find yourself staring at the rock wall. This does not happen on the Zimbabwean side of the falls.
