Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Depart for Tarangire National Park early in the morning. 
   • After arriving in Tarangire, begin exploring the enormous termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. This park is renowned for its diverse bird species and extensive population of elephants. There are regular sightings of ferocious lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffaloes, and mischievous baboons. 
   • After viewing the wildlife in Tarangire, continue the journey to the next highlight, the Ngorongoro Crater.

   Put up the tents for the night close to Lake Manyara. Dinner will be served at the campsite.

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

   • Have an early start to complete the itinerary for the day, which includes a magnificent game drive with a picnic lunch in the crater. Animals infrequently migrate in and out of the crater due to its high walls. This means you can spot every member of the big five in one day. The big five comprises buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions and leopards. Some other wildlife you can expect to see include zebras, hippos, wildebeest and hyenas. The craters also feature an extensive bird population, including geese, storks and vultures.
   • Sight flamingos on the Soda Lake. 
   • After the trip end in the late afternoon, proceed to Arusha.

   Arrangements for transportation to the airport or Arusha can be made on request.
