Iquitos, Nauta and Arrival at San Martin de Tipishca
- 3:00 pm: Transfer by car from Iquitos to Nauta city (approximately 2 hours).
Accommodation for a quick overnight.
- At 3:00 am, depart from Nauta up the Marañón River for approximately 6 hours to Puerto Prado Village.
- Navigate by a typical Peke Peke motorboat to the entrance of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve (approximately 1 hour by boat).
- Arrive at San Martin de Tipishca, an indigenous community.
Accommodation and lunch.
- In the afternoon, observe dolphins at the mouth of the Samiria River.
- In the evening, have dinner and go on a night excursion by boat to look for caimans.
