9-Day Tanzania Safari with Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Eyasi

• Prepare for an exciting safari adventure. Tomorrow morning, your guide will collect you from your hotel and escort you to Arusha National Park. This compact park teems with diverse wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, Colobus monkeys, and flamingos. After lunch, join a ranger for a thrilling walking safari, offering intimate encounters with wildlife. As the day concludes, return to Arusha.

• Today, your driver-guide will collect you from your hotel in Arusha, starting a 2-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, soak in the picturesque scenery of local villages and Maasai herds. Inside the park, embark on a thrilling game drive, renowned for its abundant elephant population, as well as zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, lions, and cheetahs. Savor a picnic lunch within the park, and in the afternoon, resume your wildlife exploration. As daylight wanes, exit the park and conclude your day at Manyara, offering a stunning pool vista of Lake Manyara. Overnight at Marela Valley Lodge.

• After breakfast, we will head to Lake Natron. The drive from Manyara to Natron is remote, with a desolate, other-worldly beauty and an incomparable feeling of space and antiquity. The roads pass through untraveled Maasai land, with small bomas and big mountains often in view. Upon arrival, your guide will take you for an adventurous walk to the waterfalls, so make sure to bring walking shoes.

• After breakfast, we will head towards the Serengeti. Take in the surrounding landscapes, complete with stunning views of Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai. It is a still-active volcano, and the Great Rift Valley stretches all the way across several countries in Africa. Enjoy the view, and after a few hours' drive, we will enter the Serengeti, where you will do a game drive en route to your accommodation in Serengeti. • Today, we are doing a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, exploring the plains and wildlife all around you. In the evening, we will stay in the Serengeti. The lodge is a comfortable tented lodge that is scenically located, where sunrise is your daily wake-up call and the beautiful sunset will always alert you to head to the campfire or enjoy a sundowner. You will have dinner and your overnight stay at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

• On day 6, we will do a game drive in the Serengeti through the morning. In the afternoon, we will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is beautifully located in the natural surroundings of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

• Today, we will drive early into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. Approximately 25,000 large animals live in the crater. We will find many zebras, wildebeests, and elephants, and if we are lucky, even rhinos. In the afternoon, we will drive to Lake Eyasi, where you will rest and prepare for tomorrow's adventure at Marela Valley Lodge.

• It is going to be a special day because today we will meet the bush men. We will visit the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes who live near Lake Eyasi. The Hadzabe are a tribe of nomadic hunters. They live purely off the land and depend solely on the bush. The Datoga tribe are pastoralists and skilled silversmiths who live near the Hadzabe and supply them with iron tips, knives, and spears in exchange for honey and fruits. After this surreal experience, we will take you to Lake Eyasi to enjoy the amazing view. After the day's adventures, take a dive and relax at the swimming pool in your accommodation at Marela Valley Lodge.

• After a good night's sleep, it is time to go to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is known for its tree-climbing lions, the soda ash lake, and its flamingos. Between the game drives, we will find a nice picnic site to enjoy our lunch. In addition, you can book a walking safari and enjoy the park on foot with a park ranger. It will be an amazing experience to see the animals up close. After our afternoon game drives, it is time to head back to Arusha, where your safari adventure will come to an end.
