The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival and Safari in Sigiriya

Meet and greet with your tour representative on arrival at the airport.
Drive to Sigiriya.
In the afternoon, head for a jeep safari at Minneriya or Kawudulla National Park.

Dinner and overnight at SIGIRIYA VILLAGE hotel.

Day 02

Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Polonnaruwa

After breakfast, visit the Lion Rock Fortress (World Heritage Site).
Enjoy a village safari.
Visit the Polonnaruwa World Heritage Site.

Dinner and overnight at SIGIRIYA VILLAGE hotel.

Day 03

Dambulla, Matale and Kandy

After breakfast, leave to visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple.
Then, leave for Kandy.
En route, visit a spice garden, a batik factory, and a wood-carving craftsman.
In Kandy, visit a gem lapidary workshop.
Take a stroll around Kandy Lake.
Witness cultural dance performances.
Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha to witness the Pooja ceremony and pay your respects to Buddha.

Dinner and overnight at THILANKA Hotel or similar.

Day 04

Peradeniya and Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, leave for Nuwara Eliya.
En route, visit the Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya.
Continue to a tea factory and estate.
Enjoy the scenic beauty of the mountains on the way to Nuwara Eliya.
Do a city tour of Nuwara Eliya.

Dinner and overnight stay at ALPINE Hotel or similar.

Day 05

Kitulgala Rafting and Colombo City Tour

After breakfast, leave for Kitulgala.
Do white water rafting in the Kelaniya River at Kitulgala.
Then, head to Colombo.
Go on a city and shopping tour in Colombo.

Dinner and overnight at Earl's Red Hotel or similar.

Day 06

Departure from Colombo

After breakfast, spend your time at leisure or make some visits around Colombo depending on your departure flight time.
Get ready and leave for the airport for departure.
End of the tour.
