The itinerary

1

Day 01

Islamabad to Chilas via Hazara Motorway and Karakoram Highway

• Depart from Islamabad and drive to Chilas (12 hours) via the Hazara Motorway and Karakoram Highway. Take a short break in Bisham for breakfast, then continue the drive and have lunch on the way.
• Arrive in Chilas for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Chilas to Hunza with Nanga Parbat and Rakaposhi viewpoints

• After breakfast, drive to Hunza (6 hours). Stop at the Nanga Parbat viewpoint and the junction point of three great mountain ranges. Continue to Hunza and have lunch on the way, with a halt at the Rakaposhi viewpoint.
• Arrive in Hunza and check in at the hotel. Visit Baltit Fort and Karimabad Bazaar, then return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03

Hunza to Passu via Attabad Lake, Gulmit and Borith Lake

• Drive to Attabad Lake via the Attabad Tunnel (40 minutes) and stop at the tunnel for photography. Proceed to Gulmit Valley (20 minutes), visit the old house, and stop at Bulbulik Music School.
• Then move to Hussaini Suspension Bridge and cross it.
• Next, trek to Passu Suspension Bridge via Zarabad (3 hours), cross the bridge, and drive up to Borith Lake.
• After lunch, explore Borith Lake and spend some free time on photography.
• Hike up to Passu Glacier and enjoy amazing views of the Karakoram mountains, including Passu Peak (7,478 m), Shispare Peak (7,611 m), and more.
• Return to Passu Tourist Lodge Hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time for photography and exploring the valley.
• Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04

Passu to Khunjerab Pass and back to Hunza

• Drive to Khunjerab Pass - 4,700 m (2.5 hours), the border with China, the highest border crossing in the world, and the highest point of the Karakoram Highway. Khunjerab is also a national park, and sometimes ibexes, blue sheep, marmots, and other wildlife can be seen here, depending on road conditions.
• Head back to Hunza Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05

Hunza to Naltar Valley and Satrangi Lakes

• Have breakfast and drive to Nomal (2 hours).
• Take a jeep ride to Naltar and Satrangi Lakes (3.5 hours).
• Explore Naltar Valley and its lakes, spend some free time enjoying the views, and visit the ski resort to experience skiing and the chairlift at Naltar Valley.
• Head back to Gilgit for an overnight stay.

Day 06

Gilgit to Bisham via Chilas

• Have breakfast and drive to Bisham via Chilas.
• Have lunch on the way and arrive in Bisham. Check in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 07

Bisham to Islamabad

• After breakfast, transfer to Islamabad to conclude the trip.

Know before you go

• The minimum number of members required to operate the trip is 8-11. If we cancel the trip due to low registration, any member who has paid will be entitled to a 100% refund or may transfer the amount to the next trip.
• Every member must carry their CNIC.
• Members should report 20 minutes before the departure time.
• Each member must behave ethically with fellow group members; otherwise, we may cancel their trip at any time.
• We are not responsible for personal injuries or accidents.
• We are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings.
• No refund shall be made if a member leaves the event midway due to any personal reason.
• No refund shall be made in case of natural disasters or any unforeseen circumstances beyond human control.
• If any places are closed for any reason, the guide will take you to other places instead.
