Itinerary
-
Explore the City of Green Bursa
- Meet the tour guide who will pick you up in Istanbul and take you on a ferry to Yalova, then take you by luxury coach to Bursa. It dates back to the 2nd century B.C. The first capital of the Ottoman Empire, Bursa, is one of the most incredible treasure houses of Islamic architecture. Despite its smaller size, many of Bursa's Ottoman landmarks rival those of Istanbul. Best of all, this lush city, known as "Green Bursa", rests at the base of Mt. Uludag, a forested peak once considered the mythical Mt. Olympus.
- Stop at the Green Mosque and Mausoleum, built by 5th Ottoman Sultan Mehmet Çelebi in the 15th century. Then, we will climb Uludag Mountain by cable car and witness a magnificent city view. You will want to take photos every second while passing through the forest with many tree species. Go to the top of the mountain, 2.486 metres above sea level, and feel the fresh air. We will have lunch on the Mountain with Barbeque.
- See the gorgeous Old Tree, which is more than 600 years old. When we return to Istanbul, we will stop at one of Bursa's most famous delight factories, which has the most delicious products.
- Return to Istanbul and transfer to hotels.
