Day 02
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar
- Trek along a beautiful trail from Phakding to Namche Bazar. The walk from Phakding to Namche Bazar takes about 6 hours.
- On the way, you can see Mt. Everest.
Day 03
Acclimatization at Namche Bazar and Khumjung Village
- Spend the day acclimatizing at Namche Bazar. On this day, you can go to Khumjung Village and see a Sherpa village.
Day 04
Trek to Tengboche Monastery
- Tengboche Monastery is a popular monastery. From here, you can see Everest clearly. The Tengboche Monastery area is very nice.
Day 05
Trek through Sherpa Villages to Dingboche
- From Tengboche to Dingboche, you can see many Sherpa villages, white snowy mountains, and nice forests. This is a beautiful trekking path.
Day 06
Acclimatization Hike to Chukum
- Acclimatization day. Rest and hike to Chukum, then return to Dingboche.
- You can see many yaks, and on the way, you can also see many tourists. Tourists heading for Island Peak climbing use this path.
Day 07
Slow Ascent from Dingboche to Lobuche
- The walking distance from Dingboche to Lobuche is only 3 hours. On this day, tourists walk very slowly because this is a high-altitude area.
Day 08
Trek to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep
- The walking distance from Lobuche to Gorakshep is only 2 hours. Gorakshep is the last tea house camp in the Everest area.
Day 09
Sunrise Hike to Kalapatthar and Helicopter Return
- Many tourists want to go to see the sunrise view from Kalapatthar and then fly back to Kathmandu.
