Garni, Geghard and Symphony of Stones Excursion
- 9:00 - The guide will pick you up from the Marriott Hotel, Yerevan, and depart for Getargel village, Dzagavank.
- 9:30 - Reach Dzagavank (Getargel S. Nshan Monastery). It is located 2 km southeast of Arinj village in the Kotayk region, on the hillside. Founded in the early Middle Ages, it is a small three-altar, cross-domed structure.
- 10:10 - Continue to Voghjaberd, Charents' Arch. The arch is dedicated to the genius Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents, who loved to walk in this place and admire the beauty of Mount Ararat.
- 10:40 - Next, go to the pagan temple of Garni.
- 12:30 - Have lunch at your choice of restaurant or guest house.
- 14:30 - Then, head to Garni Gorge, admire the Symphony of Stones, take photos, and enjoy the beautiful nature.
- 15:30 - Further, proceed to Geghard Monastery, a medieval monastery partially carved out of the adjacent mountain and surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status.
- 16:00 - Arrive at Geghard Monastery.
- 18:00 - Later, return to Yerevan to conclude the tour.
