Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu and Trip Briefing

• The first day of your adventure trip to Mardi Himal Base Camp starts with your arrival in Kathmandu.
• Our company representative will welcome you at the airport upon arrival.
• You will be transferred to the hotel, where you can relax after checking in.
• We will meet you at the hotel in the evening to discuss the trip in detail.
• Any questions you may have regarding your trip will be answered so that you are well prepared for the journey.

Day 02

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

• We will drive to Pokhara today. It is a long day's drive to the beautiful lake city, 200 kilometres west of Kathmandu.
• About six hours on the highway takes us through beautiful villages, towns, rivers, and other scenic surroundings.
• We will reach Pokhara in the afternoon, leaving enough time to stroll around Lakeside and enjoy the beauty of Fewa Lake. Pokhara offers a peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the mountains from the city itself.
• After exploring and soaking in the beauty of Pokhara, we will spend a relatively leisurely time preparing for the trek, which starts tomorrow.

Day 03

Drive to Phedi and Trek to Pothana

• As it is our first day of trekking, we get ready for the adventure. We drive for about half an hour to Phedi and start the walking journey for the day. The very beginning of the trek is uphill through lush forest, emerging at a village that leads us to the famous Dhampus village.
• We will trek further to Pothana for an overnight stay. Pothana is a famous overnight camp for trekkers in the region. Situated amidst beautiful natural surroundings, Pothana offers us a beautiful and easy time after walking for about 5 hours.

Day 04

Forest Trails from Pothana to Forest Camp

• Our day today will be full of beautiful lush forest walking experiences. About 6 hours of walking goes mainly through the forest to Forest Camp.
• You will pass through a beautiful forest of rhododendron, Schima wallichii, and several other trees on the way to the destination. The walk today will bring one of the best nature walking experiences you will ever have. This lovely walk along a relatively easy trail offers a peaceful excursion experience.
• We will reach Forest Camp to stay overnight amidst natural surroundings.

Day 05

Uphill Trek to High Camp

• Another fantastic day of nature walking awaits, with spectacular mountain views on a clear day, as we trek to High Camp for an overnight stay. Today is an all-uphill walk that introduces us to the beauty of high-elevation climatic conditions. The walk also brings beautiful views of mountains like Fishtail and Mardi, along with the ridge that extends southwards to meet the valley below.
• When we reach High Camp after about 5 hours of walking, we can enjoy an overwhelming view of the mountains in the Annapurna region of the Himalayas.
• We stay to enjoy the surroundings and settle into the comfort of our teahouse.

Day 06

Early Hike to Mardi Base Camp and Descent to Low Camp

• It is an early morning day today as we hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp.
• We start much before dawn and walk up to the base camp of Mardi Himal, which stands at an elevation of 4,500 meters above sea level.
• Once we reach the viewpoint, we can enjoy some breathtaking and unreal views of the mountains in the Annapurna region.
• We can also see the Annapurna Sanctuary gorge far below where we are standing.
• From the viewpoint at Base Camp, the walk continues along the Mardi ridge, which offers captivating mountain views.

Day 07

Descend to Sidding and Return to Pokhara

• It is the final day of walking on this adventure trip.
• A short walk of three hours down to Sidding village through the forest brings the trek to an end.
• We take a jeep ride back to Pokhara, which takes more or less 2 hours.
• Once we reach Pokhara, we will have free and relaxing time to wander around.

Day 08

Drive Back to Kathmandu

• We will drive back to Kathmandu today along the same highway that we took earlier to reach Pokhara. There is also an option to fly back by paying the extra cost for the flight.
• Back in Kathmandu, we will enjoy some leisurely time around the city.

Day 09

Departure with Trek Memories

• The Mardi Himal Trek finally comes to an end with beautiful memories and experiences of adventure trekking to the beautiful Mardi Himal Base Camp in the Annapurna region.
