Private Jeep Tour Across Gozo's Scenic Highlights
- You will need to board the ferry in Ċirkewwa, Malta, to travel across to Gozo, where your drivers and jeeps will meet you. Your tour will commence on your arrival in Gozo and will last for 7 hours.
- Travelling through different villages, valleys, and country roads, the tour will take you to some of the most beautiful spots and places of interest on the island of Gozo. These include Qala Belvedere, from where you will have a birds' eye view of the Maltese Archipelago, Dahlet Qorrot Valley, the village of Nadur, Ramla Valley, the famous Calypso Cave, and the oldest free-standing temples in the world, the Ġgantija Temples.
- You will then pass through more villages to admire the beautiful scenes of Gozo and continue through the fields down to the picturesque bay of Xlendi, where you will have a photo stop before moving on to visit the famous Citadel, the fortified old city. From here, you will go to the stone quarries, where you can watch the quarrymen cutting stone blocks to build houses. Your drivers will explain the procedure of this tough work, which is mostly done by hand.
- You will have the flexibility to stop for swim breaks at your own leisure and choose the restaurant of your choice for lunch or snack stops.
- A visit to Gozo is not complete without a stop at Dwejra and the Inland Sea, from where you can also admire the famous Fungus Rock.
- Leaving the Inland Sea, you will continue on this exciting trip to Wied il-Mielaħ and pass by the salt pans to see how salt has been produced from the sea since Roman times.
- Passing through the summer resort of Marsalforn Bay, you will drive on to the harbour of Mgarr, where your trip will come to an end.
- At the end of your tour, you will be dropped off at the Mgarr Ferry Terminal for your return to Malta. These return ferry tickets are at your own cost.
